★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded place, not much clean but buses are time to time. Shops serve ridiculous food. Do prefer only packed food there. But sometimes they charged more price over MRP. So beware. There is a Sardar ji Confectionery shop on the right corner of bus stand. His rates are genuine and behaviour is so humble. He is such a honest man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A medium-sized bus stand in the town of Solan, on the way to Shimla from Kalka.
It's quite a pretty town with buildings on the hillsides interspersed with terraced fields.
The bus stand could be maintained a bit more cleanly. Buses come and go at regular intervals. Bus as I have observed in all other stations in Himachal Pradesh, the buses wait for an inordinately long time, and one really has to leave very early if one wants to reach ones destination in time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solan Bus Stand is a short holt for Shimla - Delhi Volvo's. You can us restrooms and can have snaks. It's a halt of 10-15 minutes maximum. Local Buses also run from this stand like Solan -Shimla. Well maintained and best part is that it's on route, you don't need to go far for halt.
