★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solan railway station is one of the halts on the Kalka - Shimla heritage line. Nestled in the lee of the Himalayan mountain ranges, the train passes through sone very scenic locations before it reaches this picturesque location.
A very neat and clean station, and maintained in a similar fashion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a small railway station with narrow gauge trains running here but you will definately enjoy here. The train ride was fabulous and the views of the outside were amazing. All Valley looks so beautiful. It was an loving experience that but taking too many hours is in our opinion is long enough..
