★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lord Shiva temple At Areraj known as Someshwarnath Temple. It is one of the oldest temples of India.
People from different parts of country came here for worship. We will find more Congregation in the month of Shravan(fifth month of hindu calendar, between July and August. Every time we reach there, we feel a different kind of peace. The temple is 30km from Motihari in East Champaran district bordering Nepal. According to Shiv Puran, King Som constructed this 55 feet high temple almost 2000 years ago. It is also believed that this Panchmukhi Lingam of Mahadeo is self-existent.

No phones and leather things allowed, not even car keys.
Aarti is beautiful and laser show can't be missed .
Do take mahaprasad once visit the temple
