★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With high hopes we reached "Spice Court", it was a Saturday evening. I heard many good reviews of this place. This place has very good ambience, but I think it was not a lucky day for us... We ordered 2 starters, Raj Sula and Chiken Tikka and couple of drinks, out of which Raj Sula was too dry and not properly cooked, same goes with Chicken Tikka, tenderness of meat was missing and it seems like it was taken out of freezer and it was undercooked. For main course, we ordered famous Laal Maas and Chicken Buna, been a local and from Rajput family I understand the flavours. We asked it to be less spicy as we had kid with us, Laal Maas has no taste in curry literary no flavour and too thin although pieces were cooked properly, Chicken Buna was better comparatively.
Few more things which were observed -
1. Staff was not serving anything, be it soft drink, they just kept the Coke can on table, same goes with Starters and Main course. Dishes were simply put on the table.
2. Staff was very courageous but not trained I presume.
3. This place is heritage, if it's service level is improved along with taste, this could be one of the best places in Jaipur.
4. Raj. Sula were taken out of my bill as it was not to my expectation, which is good way, but was added back as I insisted.
Hope Kuldeep ji will take a note of my observations in positive way.
It may be a one off day in kitchen for chef,I would definately try this again for next review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I searched for Laal Maas, and this was nearest place google showed me. Undoubtedly one of the best mutton I have ever tasted, soft, delicious and still hold its shape. Worth every penny!!
But is it normal here to ask tip... Because in kolkata we only tip where we like the service, noone ask for tip. I thought it is the normal courtesy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We (family of 4) went for Lunch to this so called, "Fine-dining restaurant" on 22nd Dec 2021.
1. The disappointment and negative started from the dining hall itself. The ambiance was made measurable, so dull and dark, no natural light no bulb or Chandelier was on.
2. Menu included few wines and just 4 beers from 2 brands (King fisher & Bira-91) But the irony was even they were not stocked (What a disappointment), serving only Bira-91 White. Why? May be better returns
3. We ordered Janglee-maas with great enthusiasm, but what was served is nothing more than red Chilly Chutney with whole garlic (photo attached). One needed to dive in to the ball to find maas Mutton).
4. Veg biryani was horridly made veg pulao in which haldi was still uncooked.
5. Dal-makkhani was served cold. When asked to reheat it, it was still brought cold.
6. Worst of all, we requested the staff to pack almost full bowls of Janglee maas and butter chicken. However, when reached home, there was hardly anything packed, God knows where rest of the food vanished.
Over all Spice Court is located at best of the location in Jaipur but with lousy staff and careless chef who thinks anything goes and his customers are idiot.
EXTREAMLY DISAPPOINTED.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great and wonderful place in the pink city of Jaipur. The ambience is fantastic and the food is also delicious. Friendly staff make the invoice experience overall very very enjoyable! Definitely a go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and ambience here is brilliant. 10/10 should go. We went on Christmas, so there was a waiting time but seats were arranged within 20 minutes. The service was quick and fast.
It's best to reserve a table. Otherwise a great experience with tasty food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and ambience. Some guests did not comply with no-smoking regulation and did not sue the designated smoking areas. The management can probably make this regulation clearer to people who don’t comply. We were ably taken care by Mr. Vikram who was hospitable and knowledgable. Thanks to him and the rest of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the only time I have regretted leaving a tip (and I am ex-hotels).
Prepare to wait half hour plus for your reserved table.
Please CONFIRM your online discounts (they could forget, and “once a bill is printed…lol”.
Would not suggest unless you’re a local who wants to go to a highly rated, albeit shabbily served place.
Is pretty. Food is alright.
