This place is located opposite to rmz ecospace on outer ring road, i visited this place on sunday lunch with some of my friends. They have a buffet and apart from it some ala carte menu, we tried some ala carte dishes which i liked. Some of the dishes which we tried were vegetable thukpa, podi idli, dosa quesadilla, chur chur paratha with dal makhani was the best part of the meal. Also tried makhani pasta which was a pasta with an indian twist quite decent in taste. Coming to the deserts they have some interesting deserts apart from the buffet spread which was parle-g cheesecake and rasmalai panacota. If you would like to visit a place on a budget then this a decent place to go. Service could be some better.

Spice It Restaurant part of Ibis Bengaluru Outer Ring Road is a go to place for corporates in the area. With ambiance that is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing meal, the restaurant offers both buffet and A la Carte options to suit the masses. The A la Carte menu has been revamped very recently and I was here to experience the same on a Saturday afternoon. They have some good options on both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well. The Buffet had a good variety going along with some live counters which is required considering both expats and locals opt to dine in here. Panakam was our welcome drink which is a traditional South Indian drink blending flavors of Jaggery, Ginger, Lemon, Cardamom and Cloves ! Great Start ! Few picks from the Bar Bites to start off with – Podi Idli – Having spent the best part of my life in Tamil Nadu, I miss the Podi Idli’s from the state, this one took me back memory lane and was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Bhut Jolokia Chicken Wings – Bhut Jolokia as most of you must be knowing is the hottest Chilli Pepper in the world, and so I was ready with my glass of water when the wings arrived. But it turned out to be less spicy then it was intended to be. Got to know from the Chef that they had toned down the Chilli because not many patrons were able to handle the spice level which on the other hand I would have preferred, and so it comes down to personal choice. The Chicken Wings have a sauce dip which also has the Chilli in it, if you are able to handle more of it, dunk in the wings !! From the #WrapAndRollBaby section of the menu – Phulka Soft Tacos with Peri Peri Soya – This fusion definitely works. Each bite is loaded with flavors. Adding to the minced Soya, the stuffing also included kidney beans, veggies and cheese. Dip, Onions and Chip as sides makes it wholesome ! Dosa Quesadilla, Prawn Ghee Roast – Another fusion that I’ve become a fan of. Prawn Ghee Roast in a Dosa was a first for me and was lip smacking. Not just the dosa, but the dips were interesting as well – Bell Pepper, Date and Curry Leaf dips. While the Dosa itself was high on taste, with the dips it works wonderfully well ! I might go back for this again Meal in a Bowl section on the menu is all about interesting combos – Absolute Classic – Dal and Rajma Chawal are the options and it can’t get more classic than this. We had the Rajma Chawal with extra condiments to go with. Again presentation in a Tiffin Carrier was a nostalgic experience of opening the dabba for some good homely food ! And finally Desserts to end the meal on a high – Parle G Cheesecake – The Cheesecake was excellent ! Layered between 2 Parle G biscuits and add fusion in the form of Rabdi and gems made it very very good to eat. Presentation again was eye pleasing ! Portions good enough for a family of 3. Must eat ! Rasmalai Panna Cotta – This is highly recommended. It might look like a normal Panna Cotta, dig your spoon inside and find the Rasmalai ! Full marks for texture and flavor!

Spice it is back with a bang! They have changed the whole concept of their menu. It's fusion style food. Each dish has a twist to it. The dishes have two or more different cuisines put into one single dish. A lot of effort has been put into making the fusion menu. Some of the dishes are very extraordinary and good. My favourite picks: Dosa Quesadilla: this is probably the first time I've heard and tasted dosa Quesadilla. Trust me, you have to give this a try. It's really yummy and different. Manipal Style Egg Bun: this was my favourite. The fun was so soft and fluffy filled with scrambled egg and cheese in between. Too good. Podi Idli: not a fan of this.. But the podi used here was so good. It was very flavorful and delicious with a lot of curry leaves. Nasi Goreng: this was the perfect main course. Consisted of prawn crackers, fried rice with egg on top and chicken satay. The Satay was very yumm. Rasmalai Pannacota: very unique. Had rasmalai inside it. Hospitality: it was very good. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They made sure we had a really good dinning experience. Ambiance: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 4/5

IBIS has always been one of those hotels which never disappoints it's food patrons. Located in the same building of Novotel, Bellandur and quite easy to locate. This fine dine restaurant could comfortably accommodate a pack of 80 approximately. I was there on a lazy Sunday with a friend for a lunch. Would you like to know what I have tasted there? Take a look ?Tibetian thupka with chicken : This noodle soup is simply a bliss. It is thin in consistency and rich in taste. The soup tasted quite flavourful with adequate amount of well cooked chicken and veggies. ? Penne makhni style with chicken : An Italian delicacy with Indian touch! Penne is beautiful cooked with tender chicken and has slight makhni flavour. One of the best dishes in the menu! ?Dosa quesdilla with prawn ghee roast : A simple fusion dish yet quite flavourful. I have never tasted quesdilla with prawn before. Prawns are wonderfully cooked and rolled in Dosa with adequate amount of masala. This dish will simply hit your tastebuds with its pleasing flavour. ?Chicken biryani : Presented in a quite fancy cooker. I was a bit disappointed with biryani in terms of aroma. The biryani tasted good with right amount of spices but it lacked aroma. It could have been incredibly delicious with a proper aroma. ?Parle G Cheesecake : This is one of their signature desserts. I would say it's quite innovative and well presented. Cheese is stuffed between 2 Parle G biscuits and placed in milk maid cream garnished with pista and badam. The taste of cheese matched greatly with biscuit and was truly blissful. Staff here are quite responsive and quick in terms of service. They have a complete knowledge on what they are serving on the table. Though it's a star hotel, their menu is simple and pricing is absolutely pocket friendly. Definitely a value for money place. Do pay a visit to experience their delicacies.

After a disappointing hotel arrangement coz of desired rooms unavailability we head to Spice It with zero expectations and the place turned out to be really hospitable. Christopher and Gautam were so helpful that they made minor adjustment to the mocktails and also made small portion of lassi just because bullet chilli chicken was really spicy. Kudos to them. Food is nice, ambience is super cool, beautiful indian cutlery added to the already beautiful ambience.

I had there been for my official meeting. As I didn't find anything near by for my dinner on the first day. So I decided to had dinner at the hotel. Went for the dinner and the price was way more than the BBQ nation, where as the quality of food was not up to the mark. They had very limited number of varieties in the dinner. The panner sabzi was pathetic. No taste no salt nothing, the only thing you can taste was sour spices. In the morning also I had my breakfast there as it was complimentary. So decided to eat boil eggs, but my bad luck that they were not properly boiled. So need to ate egg bhurji which contains alot of oil in it. So the last option I have was fruit. The ambiance was nice and calm. Self service will help to move your order faster as compare with waiting for there service. Overall rating: Food: 3.0 Ambiance: 4.0 Service: 3.0
