It means this is during the time when Gangas ruled Karnataka.
Amazed by the rich heritage and culture we had in Bangalore.

A temple which stood the test of time and social conditions, continues to bless and fulfill prayers and desires of devotees, just by being in the presence of the divine.
An archaeological dated temple of the main deity Sri Anjaneya swamy which is 600 years old and Devi Durga a 1300 year old sculpture. The Divine grace is so powerful and fulfilling, you feel the presence lingering on you for hours even after stepping out of the temple.
Listening to stories and experience of visiting devotees of the grace the presiding deity is nothing short of a miracle. The journey for our family to reach this abode was a miraculous journey by itself.
The sanctity of temple is maintained and a new sanctum within the temple for Ganapathy was build just a few years ago, bringing a culmination look of old and new time of temple science and construction.
