★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very big and ancient temple. Lot of open space for parking. This temple is one of the five Bhavanarayana kshetras. Other temples are at Sarpavaram (Kakinada), Peda Gajam (Prakasam dt.), Pattisam (W. Godavari dt.) and at Bapatla. Built in Chola Kingdom.
On either side of the Presiding Diety, Sridevi and Bhudevi Idols were consecrated.
Dhwaja sthabham was damaged recently and new one to be re-established.
