★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Popular time for visiting is during durga pooja Maha shivratri. Daily aarti is organized two times. Once during morning and once in evening. Aarti is also very beautiful and attractive. Idols of many god and goddess are present here. A big fair is organized here during durga pooja.

This was the Taposthali of the great tantra sadhaks Paramhansha Baba Saran Sarthi and Paramhansha Kumar Sahab. At present in Shamshan ghat there is a Hawan Kund with Dhaja which is stabilised by Paramhansha Baba Saran Sarthi.
