Guru ji developed their concern towards plants and flowers in their childhood in the company of their grandfather Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji.
Guru sahib developed fifty two garden at Kiratpur Sahib, Punjab in the state of Shiwalik hills. As a result the city come to be know as the city of gardens.
Guru Har Rai Sahib gardens were known for rare collection of healing herbs
