★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in and around Kakinada or Rajamundry, do take time to visit this temple. Established in 1889 and Gopuram are built over 50 years ago. This is a beautiful temple, well maintained. After visiting Kodandarama Swamy do take time to visit addala mandiram and climb 10 floors of gopuram to enjoy the views and sculptures beautifully done at each level depicting scenes in Ramanaya. Must vist place for a 1/2 day trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple was amazing and height of Gopuram was 200 feet. We can get to the top of gopura and can observe the sides. one side has Ramayana and other side has Mahabharatha characters as statues. It will be amazing to get to the top of temple. And below were photos of Gopuras.

The temple is popular all over the state of Andhra Pradesh and is known as Gopurala Mamidada. A special attraction of Gollalamamidada Rama temple is its 170 feet high Gopuram. April 19 is a special day at the Gollalamamidada Rama temple and wedding ceremony of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita is held on this day every year at the temple. The temple is situated in an area of 16 acres and the temple complex is being aesthetically maintained by the management committee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent. I have been to many temples across South India, this Gopuram stands out. Extraordinary work. Excellent workmanship. Every minute details were being carved in an excellent way. Temple full of positive vibes. Very clean and tidy. Mirror palace was marvelous. Must visit mirror palace for children. Full mirrors with reflection and refractions incredibly show casted.All time Annadhanam. Try to visit the extreme top Gopuram. Do visit Bikkavolu Vinayaka temple too.

Amazing piece of history carved/made into the main raja goouram.
The raja gopuram is of 12 floors and one can climb 11 floors the last one is locked.
Each floor have different parts of Hindu history varying from Sri Rama Chandramurthi’s exile his victory over Ravana, Sri Krishna’s childhood, Sri Prahalad and Sri Urga Natasha’s avatar and few more which I didn’t correlate!
All the idols/statutes built with cement I think the detailing is top notch!
One who likes old temples, who wants to know our ancestors talents and knowledge must visit this temple.
Also remember the gopuram was built in 20th century only, not so long, the temple is a more than a century old.
