This Hindu Temple of Lord Ram in Odisha. It is located near Kharavel Nagar, Janpath, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This temple is famed as the most –visited pilgrimage in Odisha for Rama devotees. The major attraction of Bhubaneswar Ram Mandir is the beautiful images of Lord Rama, Lord Lakshman, and Goddess Sita. The high rising spire of the main temple visible from many parts of the capital city is its main attraction. Built and managed by a private trust, the temple complex also comprises shrines devoted to ochre-painted marble idols of Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and other gods. Ram Mandir is very beautiful from outside, as most constructions in Bhubaneshwar are characteristic by one style from a first eye visitor but the place seems unique. It has been painted beautifully using sculptures on walls. A gorgeous temple located in the heart of the city, the Ram Mandir in Bhubaneshwar is known for housing beautiful images of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. This newly built temple is characterized by its large spires which can be spotted from afar and its fiery colors.

Bhubaneswar is popularly known as the "Temple City of India". Being the seat of Tribhuvaneswar or 'Lord Lingaraja', it has all significance for Hindu pilgrims. Innumerable numbers of temples spot the scene of the ancient city. It is said in the old city there were more than 2000 temples.
Bhubaneswar is the inspiring place where temple building activities of Orissa style was bloomed and blossomed from its very inception upto its peak and that prevailed for over 1000 years.

The present Bhubaneswar, what we see today, with its modern buildings and wide ranging communications has entirely harmonized its historic background. It now is capable of catering facilities to all kinds of visitors and thus it has become an ideal target for traveller.

There are hundreds and thousands of Sri Ram Mandir in our country. Some of them are very very important and some very important and few worth notable. The Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar is one such temple. It is situated in the heart of the city near Kharavela Nagar. The place called Janpath is a temple housing beautiful images of Lord Rama, his consort Seetha Matha along with his brother Lord Lakshman. You can see the gopuram of the temple from several spots of the capital city, as it is its main attraction. This temple is said to have constructed and administered by a private trust. This complex has housed other shrines devoted Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva and other gods.

The idols are beautiful in this newly built temple. It is characterised by its large spires which you may spot out from afar and you will enjoy its fiery colours. Several festivals like Sri Ram Navami, Vivaha Panchami, Janmashtami and Dussehra are celebrated on this ground. After completing the puja and going round the temple you will simply enjoy some moments of coolness while sitting on the marble floors with closed eyes.

Festivals of all types relating to Lord Sri Rama observed every year. Among several festivals especially Sri Ram Navami, Vivaha Panchami, Janmashtami, Dussehra, Shivratri and other festivals are given more importance. The Aarthis during morning and evening will be splendid and during that time good lot of devotees attend the temple.

Of course after enjoying the divine bliss in the temple go out for munch on the yummy street food on the street. You may try the Dahi Bada and Bada Dalma and enjoy the taste of Bhubaneswar snacks.
