★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest temple in Kacharakanahalli, built during the time of Cholas in Karnataka.
According to the priest of the temple, the temple is said to be around 1500 years old.
Annual festival of Mahashivaratri is the main festival celebrated here and Hoovina Pallakki of Someshwara, Keshava and other Gods of the village is held on the night of Shivaratri festival.
The temple is open on all days from morning 8 am to 12 pm and evening 5 pm to 8 pm.
It is usually crowded on Mondays.
