★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The overall attitude was not at all broad minded. Should have been more cordial. Most importantly the quality of food or prasad was awfully bad. Even children were given hot and burning food which was difficult to eat even by the aged people like us. If hot food is served, then why no spoon is given then? How costlier is spoon. No one is bothered. Very pity

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A peaceful and serene place with ample space is this Ashram behind Jadavpur 8B Bus Stand. One can perform the last rites of their near n dear ones apart from other rituals. Bhog with coupons @ of Rs.50/- is available limited to 5 persons only from each party. Some Brahmins, may be not all, who perform the rites/rituals require to be more honest n sincere. They perhaps have the tendency to finish off their duties in a hurry. The other thing which came to notice and for which I personally felt bad was that the Brahmins mostly use unwashed utensils required while performing a ritual and the clothes, be it a saree, dhoti or the gamchas, they have all been used on many occasions previously (this could be avoided by asking the willing parties to pay for new set of clothes, etc. if not the Puja utensils). Such things do not give satisfaction to one while performing the last rites of their close ones. That's my humble opinion.

They arrange all kind of necessary iteams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very beautiful and clean & silent temple of Ram Thakur. The doors of the temple are open from 8 am to 1 pm & again from 4 pm to 8 pm. Prasad coupons are cut from 8 am to 11 am. Shraddha work is also done in this temple. This temple is located Kolkata's posh area at Jadavpur.
