★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a combination of 3-4 different vendors located in the hotspot of RT Nagar just on the opposite road of Shanthi Sagar. They have a restaurant which serves only rice bath, idli and vada, another counter which serves a variety of Dosas, one more which serves juice and beverages and the one which serves chats during the evening.
Since I was new to this place I headed to the restaurant which serves Idli -vada and rice bath. Both Idli and vada were average. The sambar supplied with it was poor in taste and it was missing some vital ingredients. However, later I realised that they had Dosa counter too in which they serve special Dosas like mix veg dosa, apple dosa, etc. Since I was already full with the idli-vada and as the dosa place was open towards the road allowing all dust and dirt to sit on the dosa pan, I didn't feel like having Dosa over there.
Instead of that, I had sweet lime juice which was too average and didn't felt fresh.
Service is kind of clumsy and confusing, individual vendors accept payment and at the same time guy sitting at the central cash counter will also issue token and receives cash. It's quite confusing where to pay and whether it's prepaid or postpaid.
There is nothing to talk about ambience as it offers only stand-eat option with hardly 3-4 tables in the vicinity. Hygiene factor is very poor. However, as many people claim, I would like to taste their chat items and then update the review.
