I am learning Kathak at Sri Guruji Art Academy for the past 1 year. The academy provides a wonderful environment for all types of learners and has excellent teachers for many performing and fine arts. The environment in the academy is something one only can experience by being there. I began learning Kathak at 40! And was fully encouraged to continue my dream of learning how to dance. I strongly recommend this academy for anyone who wishes to learn arts in any form-

This is not just a music school it a artistic and musical school. I've been here for almost 5 years learning carnatic vocal. I've also been through some competition not here somewhere else. Actually the receptionist mostly cares about the money not the level you are in.

Would like to share our experience of other side of the coin. They do not have any link to Sri guruji Art of Living, just using name to create confusion and taking advantage. They do not provide fee receipt unless you push hard. They increased fee in the name of GST and did not give details of earlier taxation part.so did not increase on the differetial basis. They used to take exams with one Gandharv univ and charge rs. 1500 without giving breakup. If you visit Gandharv univ website their fee is only rs.220. We pushed hard to disclose the fee details then they tell rest rs.1280 is service charge. So if you do not care about yjour wallet and systems then it is ok.

Ambience is fantastic. Student have option to choose the discipline of their liking. Cordial relationship between Teacher and Parents is a highlights. Kudos to Pushpa, Mani and family for bringing the Institution to the Complex.

Wonderful place for learning the fine & performing arts. In my opinion, this is probably the first & only initiative to come up with this kind of institution to offer a holistic approach to teaching fine & performing arts. The ambience of the Academy is such that the student is able to totally immerse himself / herself into the subject of his / her preference & the efforts of the teacher completes the process of learning. For any student to excel he / she has to be first interested in what he / she wants to learn... and this can happen if she has fun learning what he / she wants to learn. This is where this academy brings forth the difference.... the infra, the ambience & the staff create an atmosphere of fun.... & this results in a very immersive learning experience. The other most unique aspect is that there is no age bar to become a student of this academy... any person... he or she of any age group can join... the fun. In fact, it's learning in institutions like the Sri Guruji Art Academy that a child develops not only an APTITUDE but also the right ATTITUDE. While the normal curriculum taught in the regular schools is necessary to formalise the child's education & prepare him for the future... the curriculum offered by SGAA touches the emotional & the creative side. In fact, in many ways music or painting unlocks the LATENT TALENT within a person. The student who does well to even make fine or performing art their hobby... they do much better in life... emotionally, spiritually & professionally. And of course, what to say about those students who make any of the fine or performing art their profession... the sky's the limit for such people. Another important aspect is when you start learning any fine or performing art you automatically immerse yourself in the local culture. And the world knows how varied, colourful, flamboyant & dynamic is Indian culture. SGAA gives us all this opportunity to be an an active participant in cultural gatherings. Music, dance & painting... in any form is spiritually uplifting... it enriches in many ways... mentally, morally, culturally, financially & spiritually. I would like to sign off by paying a personal tribute to Mrs.Pushpa Subramanian... who conceived this idea of SGAA and worked towards it to make it a reality. No amount of praise will do justice to her intent & the Wonderful gift she has given us... the gift of SGAA... an institution that's blessed by goddess Saraswati herself. My best wishes to her... her family members who partner her in this endeavour ... her army of brilliant teaching staff & the very efficient customer friendly admin staff. I am sure SGAA which is an institution now propagating fine & performing arts... Will gain momentum & become a movement in the near future... laying the foundation to a culturally strong India.
