It was established in the year 1937 with the contributions of Nuziveedu Jameendar Sri Raja Rangaiah Appa Rao and Sri Chunduru Venkata Reddy. Eminent lecturers like Sri Viswanadha Satyanarayana garu taught in this college in a dedicated manner to uplift the educational standards. Students studied in this college exhaled in different areas like education, medicine, engineering, judiciary, administration, business, cinema industry, politics etc. Presently college is functioning as Junior College and Degree College. P.G Centre was also started and upgraded as PG college. Vocational courses, Civil services examination training, job orinted training in computers, fine arts classes, language courses, skill development courses etc are being conducted to bring overall development of students and prepare them to exhale in the present days competitive world.
