One of the prominent schools of Delhi. Well qualified teaching staff. Some problems with administration. But overall a very good option for parents. Smart classes and sports facilities add up to make it a better school than others.

This school is not just a building but also an important part of my childhood. The motto of the school is *SPREAD THE LIGHT*. Teachers here nuture the kids very well. The kids are well versed with all the knowledge to survive the outer world. The school aims to make students achieve excellence not only in academics but also in other cultural activities and sports. Co curriculum activities enhance the personalities of the students. Practical labs, smart class rooms, inter house activities, assemblies are help in the development of the students. With endless discussions on this building who not only helped students like me to create a good memory and gain knowledge but also helped me to become a better human, I would just say that WE ARE GEORGEANS AND WE HAVE TO BE THE BEST !!!!

The school runs on the concept Micro-management (In a negative connotation), whereby the principal closely observes or controls everything without giving any autonomy to the staff or the students even for the trivial activities like going for extra curricular activities in the zonal or state level, which would only help building reputation and name. Pros: The school has a Remarkably graceful infrastructure with wide open spaces, big classrooms and clean corridors. Teachers pay attention towards the academics of the students (only up to class 10), Though, Some teachers in the highers classes surely need a replacement. Cons: The top management of the school is not approachable at all. No extra curricular activities whatsoever, never a note worthy participation in zonal, interstate or national projects. No MUN (Model United Nations). Superficially disciplined students. No recognition of the staff, teachers and/or students. The school canteen needs a serious overhaul. No autonomy to the students, not even for organizing class assembly (its always the same - cliched format) Students don't speak English, not even in the English classes (LOL) even though its a christian missionary school. Sad alumni meet. Lags in the sports great time, majorly due to lack of willingness of the teachers and management. In this backdrop, I would just conclude by saying that I have spent 14 years of my life here. The school is better than others but yet far to be the best. I hope things continue to improve gradually. Good luck and all good wishes.

The lights are good for a night match but the ground is average. Grass should be uniform

The school location as well as premises are very good. The classrooms are spacious too and has a large enough playground. Though the washrooms are poorly maintained.

Best school ever I was honored to have studied here for 12 years straight most of the teachers were the best and the school ground is also big but now they have changed the ground and the basketball court has gone the tennis court is also gone sad to see that ? but the educational aspect is still good as I here from the junior students some teachers have also changed.they still have a big cricket ground way bigger than most of the Delhi schools

An excellent school for good education, discipline and character building This is an excellent school for imparting good quality education based on what is considered to be slightly 'old school' values. St. George's School, as evident from the name is a Christian school, a Christian missionary school. So some of the values like discipline, strictness, focus on academics is all very much there. It was started in 1962 and is one of older schools in the city and one of the oldest in the South East Delhi - Alaknanda area. It was started by Rev Fr V.C. George a Christian missionary. It is a minority institution run by the Christian minority. In 1982 it came under the management of the Muthoot Group, another renowned organization from the south. Dr. Sara George, ex- Principal and now Director of the school, ran the school on well founded and enduring values. This is evident from the favoured position it enjoys among the educational institutions in the city. It has CBSE curriculum and offers admission from Pre-Primary through Class XII. It offers both Science and Commerce streams. The school also offers good extra-curricular and sports activities. It offers excellent facilities for cricket, with even day and night playing facility. Paul George International School has come up just next to the school and belongs to the same group.
