The locality's central attraction is St. Johns Methodist Church. It is built in the old mughal architecture. Inaugurated by Bishop of Lahore! There is a thriving community around the church..

Peaceful area.... There are so many one bhk and twobhk houses available for rent.. Someone looking for shifting to Mehrauli can rent a house here in church compound... Small adjustments for water need to be done.

lovely and pleasant church. but God is truth and God is Holy. you can not serve two masters, God and the mammon. Denomination (Denomination means world, dogma and creeds) and Truth are two different worlds that can not merge together. Truth will set you free and denomination will sent you to the hell according to (Matthew 7:21). that's why God calls out His bride (in Rev. 18:3-5) from these churches for the rapture. The Catholic Church (The so called Mother church, the Babylon) is the Whore according to the Bible and Denomination churches are her Daughters.

The church sits majestically in the crowded area of mehrauli. It silently acknowledges the existence of people around it. The aircrafts flying overhead every five minutes add to the aura. Beautiful Serene and majestic, three words best describe the church.

St. John's Church, originally a cathedral, was among the first public buildings erected by the East India Company after Kolkata (Calcutta) became the effective capital of British India.[1] It is located at the North-Western corner of Raj Bhavan, and served as the Anglican Cathedral of Calcutta till 1847, when the see was transferred to St. Paul's Cathedral. Construction of the building, modelled on St Martin-in-the-Fields of London,[2] started in 1784, with Rs 30,000 raised through a public lottery,[3] and was completed in 1787. The land the church stands on was gifted by Maharaja Nabo Kishen Bahadur of Sobhabazar.[4] It is the third oldest church in the city, next to the Armenian Church of the Holy Nazareth and the Old Mission Church.[5] St. John's Church, Kolkata STJ1.jpg St. John's Church, Kolkata Wikimedia | © OpenStreetMap Location 2/2, Council House St, opp. Dewars Garage, Lal Dighi, B.B.D.
