★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest church in Thane. Built much before the British rule in 1582. This huge church has sculptures of Mother Mary and Jesus, St Francis, St John Baptist, Mother Theresa. Beautiful oil paintings and Glass paintings adorn the walls around. Built in the old Gothic structure it looks magnificent. It has been renovated few times but still maintains the old world charm.
Masses are conducted in Konkani, Marathi, Tamil and Malayalam. Check out the timing of each mass. People of all faith are welcomed. Pray, meditate and calm your mind.
Sunday: 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:15 a.m, 11:00 am (Malayalam) and 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm

The altar has the feel of the old Portuguese Church is just like we have in Goa. intricate old and sculptures and paintings add on the back of the altar as well as the top of the ceiling. It has a beautiful Mother Mary's grotto on the right hand side as well. And statue of sacred heart of Jesus facing the church from the outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very beautiful church . perhaps the most beautiful church in Thane with a history of over 400 years at the current site and the current structure. Built initially by francisscans and later transferred to the secular clergy this church has a magnificent alter and a left and right wing typical of many churches especially francissan .This church was earlier named as st.antony but then renamed as st.john around 400 years ago itself . Amazing architecture. Do visit when I r in Thane . They have a large parking space too. It is a historical and cultural heritage site
