★ ★ ★ ★ ★ St. Martin's Church is located inside the military cantonment of Delhi, in Pratap Chowk, Dhaula Kuan, which looks like a fort from the outside. It displayed the brilliance of the British architectural wonders that has decided to shift in India. The church was designed by Sir Arthur Gordon Shoosmith, who lived from 1888-1974. It was started in 1929 and completed in the year 1931. According to their source, altogether more than three and a half million red bricks were used to build this parish. The church became deteriorated under the harsh weather condition of Delhi that it underwent a massive renovation in May 2013 and was finally completed in July 2013 itself. One of the distinctive features that one will notice upon entry is that the church is almost "windowless" on both sides. It has a high majestic dome-shaped interior ceiling in the center of the altar-stage. But one attention to all the first timers who decided to visit this church-that the building is full of echoes when one speaks making it challenging to listen audibly. I hope the authorities are fully aware of this scenario and let's hope we have no distraction when we draw towards His holy sanctuary with our hearts full of love and devotion for our Lord!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful church and affordable for the marriage and other purposes. Management and other staffs are humble and friendly. Quite spacious to accommodate many people. Having a school in the back the church is available only after 3pm.
