★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Stance Dance is one of best dance academies in NCR. The mentors are trained professional artists, who know their form very well. What proved to be a refreshing change (from other similarly placed dance studios), is that the classes follow a structured pattern and the choreography is well thought through. Enough attention is given to warm up exercises to avoid injuries. The mentors are not in a rush to finish the song and give enough time for every student to catch up.
Himani deserves a special mention for her impeccable choreography, energy and enthusiasm. She brings in a positive vibe to the class, which adds to the fun. Needless to say, she is an immensely talented dancer and has much to offer to her students in terms of her knowledge of the dance form (contemporary/jazz).
A word of caution though, this is not one of those run of the mill, ' Let's loose some weight by jumping around' kind of dance class. So, if that's the agenda you may want to avoid this (There are a dime a dozen floating around for that). I personally felt that one needs a certain amount of fitness,flexibility and inherent groove to pick the choreography well and hope to be a presentable performer in due course.
Lastly, if you enjoy dancing and it's something that makes you happy and if you have (some) talent at least, you must give this a shot!!

Himani and all the trainers at the studio (Saumya, Esha) are extremely professional, and superb in both their craft and surprisingly, also in handling and guiding my child with special needs, which was a pleasant surprise, given they have no formal training on that. We take one on one classes. Highly recommend.
