★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regret to note that despite being the Main Banking Institution in India, no one ever bothers to update the information provided by them in the Net.
IFSC is the main element that people are looking for, but it is still the old one.
For instance, SBI in Sion, Mumbai is still showing SBIN 0020313.
The Bank needs to be more dynamic and efficient in the Online arena
Telephone calls are never answered.
Better not to Bank with them if you are looking for a more professional service

I’m waited for dd more than 1 n half hour , they don’t even know the dd process, I saw one person who want to deposit money he strictly denied by cashier very bad , extremely pathetic service here they are not working just seating and laughing I saw staff is using headphones while working listening music how pathetic people are , if any sbi office seen this kindly take against them. They are just getting free payment

Not to mention they never answer the phone. Avoid opening an account in this branch. And if you do have an account I strongly urge you to shift to another branch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited the branch to open a new saving bank account. I have asked for minimum balance, upon which they told me Rs.3,000 (Minimum Balance) and additional Rs.1,000 for some kind of insurance. On asking about the insurance, they have said it is compulsory.
No bank can sell BANKING PRODUCTS COMPULSORILY as per RBI.
Please see the reply from SBI in the photo attached. Do not pay additional Rs.1000 for accidental insurance to open a saving bank account.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid at all cost. Some of the new lower level staff is helpful but the banking staff is rude and incompetent and they're enabled by equally terrible manager. Whatever we read about SBI holds true for this branch. Go to Bank of Baroda or any other branch. This review is equally redundant because it's not like SBI will change anyway. Potential customers beware.
