And should be shifted some where else....
They seldom help new customers and senior citizens and treat them badly as if they r illiterate... There must some hole in the recruitment procedures ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want terrible customer service and have endless time at your disposal please avail service at this SBI branch. Not sure why there is no control of the manager over the staff who are either loitering around or so incompetent to deliver customer service.Please run away if possible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If u have atleast 2 hrs at hand for deposit or withdrawal, then visit the branch or else visit e-corners. Some staffs are really helpful and others behave that they r doing favour to customers by giving the service. Of course the latter number is more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chinsurah has two SBI branches, this is the main branch and the oldest one. It has two stories and enough space. The behaviour of the employees is not up to the mark but given that they consider themselves as government employees, we can safely ignore as long as we get our intended service from them. This branch is crowded most of the time. Few of the services regarding KYC are outsourced and you can find these services in the apartment opposite to the bank building. Communication is the key and which is the main drawback of the employees of this bank including the bank manager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Branch ambience is not modern. Staff strength is not adequate in accordance with customer base. Need more seating arrangement for waiting customers.
Now it is updated as per modern ambiance.
Inspite of less number of staff strengths service is somewhat ok. Customer must consider alternate channel for time saving and convenience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service. If you have an issue they will not try to go to the depth of it and will try to divert you to other desk. Better to avoid this branch for personal banking. Khadina More branch in Chinsurah is better in terms of personal banking.
