With the new CDM cash deposit machines called e-corner, you no longer have to stand in long lines to deposit money into a bank account. How cool is that!
However, what if the machine goes offline, time outs, and the machine takes all your money but doesn't deposit it in your account? What then?
The same thing happened to me, In my head, I thought the machines problem manager would solve everything. but no, there is a process. You need to fill out a CDM machine complaint form. Include the print out of the receipt. After that, submit the form to the bank.Upon receiving the details, you will need to wait for one day. If everything is clear, then the funds will be deposited in your account within two days.
However, what they didn't know was that I was in an emergency and needed money fast, which is why I used CDM.
As I explained to the manager, she did not offer any proper guidance, just said to submit all your information, fill out the form, and wait for 24 hours for processing. After the 24 hr waiting was over, the manager said what I said yesterday, but she didn't know that 24 hr already passed, as well as acting like we were their employees, not their customers such a rude attitude.
If there is an emergency, avoid using CDM machines. The Bank won't assume liability if the machines fail. Don't rely on CDM.There is a recommendation to avoid using these so-called time-saving CDM machines in times of emergency
