I had an HP elitebook 845 G7 laptop which was not charging but working fine, so i've raised a service requesrt and one of this STI service person came to my location for checking purposes.
He opened the laptop and disconnected the battery and connected charger for checking purpose, immediately one of the ICs burned and smokes were coming.
Now these guys are denying the service and telling that the laptop will not cover under warranty. They are blaming us that we damaged the laptop, we did something and we burned the thermal IC like that.
STI Infotech , If any accidental mistakes happened from your service engineer you guys should accept the mistake and try to rectify that. You should not be blaming the customer.
Such a worst experience from STI Infotech for the first time.
