★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I and my family stayed at this place for 2 days. The climate when we visited in Oct was just amazing, it was mist everywhere and not at all hot. The resort is housed in a huge property. We booked cottages with the pool and the laterite cottages. Both were clean and well maintained. The pool is inside each house the plus point is that privacy is guaranteed. The property itself is enough for the kids as it has a play area and things are available to keep the kids occupied for atleast 2-3 days. Food was Kolhapuri food, no stale oil was used and it did not cause any stomach issues. It was like staying t your home. You need to convey as to what you want and they will prepare. They marinated paneer and chicken and provided the barbeque setup. It was amazing to have it with family. They even prepared food based on instructions like don't add garlic. Rates are very reasonable. Just next to the property you have amazing lakes and ponds, no people to disturb. Cons - The infrastructure needs to be improved.

Great food, both veg and non veg with a good seating area.
Very courteous and good service by the staff.
Lots of places to visit around. A place to visit for a good unwind. Strongly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing experience! We planned to eat there and called before to make sure they are open and have food. After we reached there person there said they don’t have food for everyone (only for customers staying at resort). Also they had shortage of vegetables and told us to wait for at least 1 hour so that he can go to market to buy veggies and then cook food for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well! I will surely remember this as one of my most memorable stays. I stayed here with family - and celebrated my wedding anniversary here. I appreciate the efforts and thoughts put in by Mr Omkar for room decoration with flowers and balloons, cake and music! Its an unforgettable experience for us :)
( Day 1 - My kid suffered from nausea due to travel and then immediately going out to play in the sun and jumping on trampoline. Mrs Kharat immediately suggested a doctor nearby and sent one of their staff Swapnil - who suspended whatever he was doing - with us to the doctors clinic. Thanks for treating us like family!)
The resort itself is very beautiful. Gaganbawda being a serene place. Its just next to the main road, yet peaceful. Most of the sightseeing places are at close distance.
We were fortuante to meet owners of the resort - Mr and Mrs Kharat - while we were there. They helped us in every aspect - stay, food, sightseeing. The friendly talks revealed we could visit the place in all three seasons and enjoy nature.
The rooms are spacious, clean, pretty well maintained (minor damages can be ignored).
The pool room is audaciously large! The name "stonarc" is justified when most of the things seem to be made up of stones :D
Equipment like badminton rackets, cricket bat, archery is in good condition. There is enough space for leisurely walks, photography within the resort also.
Food is healthy and fresh. Taste would be a topic of subjective discussion but personally, i liked it. All this at a extremely reasonable rates!
Special thanks to owners and staff - for setting a great, amazing display of "hospitality"! Would surely visit again!

I came to stay here at gaganbawda stonarc resort after reading the reviews and i assure you , you will definitely love this beautiful resort . A great place to just relax and enjoy the hospitality .
If you are looking for resorts for couples , families or large group , i definitely recommend Stonarc Resort .

The resort is well managed and the facilities are excellent.
Food quality is super.
Staff isais verysvery cooperative and service is gr8.
Definitely a holiday place for friends and family.
So many tourist places, trekking points around.
We had a very good stay.
Only points for improvements would be
1. Swimming pool size
2. Break fast timing

Their location is excellent, very peaceful.
The property is well maintained. Rooms are in format of individual cottages.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
On colder winter nights the staff would quickly organize a outdoor bonfire.
