The approaches we follow for our Play School /kindergarten students are guided by some very renowned people who have done ample amount of work in the field of education. We keep all those parameters in mind while working with young children. Some of those are as follows:-
(1.) We have inherited the key principles of Montessori approach of learning developed by Maria Montessori. Some of those which our school system has embraced are independence, observation, following the child, correcting the child and prepared environment. We even provide Montessori equipments and play material in our school premises.
(2.) We even agree with the ideas of John Dewey who believed in progressive education i.e. the view of education in which human beings learn by doing. His idea of child-centred approach to education places the emphasis of learning on the needs and interests of each individual and also caters to the subjectivity of each child. Experiential learning and hands-on approach are also some to the key principles we have received from him.
(3.) Some principals of Reggio Emilia are also taken into account which calls for the presentation of new ideas and concepts in multiple forms, such as print, art, drama, music, puppetry, and so on. Varied presentations ensure that all children have the chance to understand and connect with the concepts being explored.
Besides this, her idea of collaboration is seen as necessary to further a child’s cognitive development. Groups both large and small are encouraged to work together to problem-solve using dialogue, comparisons, negotiations, and other important interpersonal skills. Each child’s voice is heard in order to promote a balance between a sense of belonging to the group and a sense of self.

Teachers and the staff is too good and Ritu Maam and Donna Maam also always supportive in each way to guide us with best learning way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Child has finished KG from Strawberry Kidz (Shivnagar). He is now five years old. In the past, before the lockdown, we had good experience. Even during the online classes, which were little difficult for parents, they made good efforts for training kids. Their understanding kid's requirement is phenomenal. One can easily see their personalized attention to the students. Interaction with the Ritu Malhotra mam (Owner) prove her understanding of early childhood requirements of a kids. Now we are planning to send our second kid, along with the first, in the Strawberry Kids.
** One star deducted as presently we feel that the staff needs to be little more sensitive to the requirements of the cute little kids. Management needs to teach staff little sensitivity towards new comers to the world. (Will review after a few months again).

One thing which sets them apart from other schools is their innovative way of teaching which creates fun with learning. They not only focus on their academic excellence but also on developing life skills. I highly admire the school staff for their tremendous effort during the covid pandemic. She is 5 years old now and moving to class 1 in higher school and she was pretty ready for that thanks to Strawberry Kidz.
