On whatsapp they told me they have separate washrooms for gents and ladies but when i went there they told me the washroom is on the 3rd floor. ( The library is in the basement).
Due to the recent fire the elevators and escalators were not working and most of the shops were closed. There were men around and it felt quite weird to go all the way up on an empty floor. I couldnt find the washroom on the 3rd floor so i came back. I called up the incharge who did not pick up my call and instead messaged me to ask all the queries to the staff present there.
When I asked him about the 3rd floor washroom he said they had the keys for it but were not allowed to use
The staff told me that there is another washroom which is common for the mall. When i asked him about it he said its only for men.
Then he directed me to another ladies washroom which was somewhere on the far side of the mall where repair work was going on.
That washroom had no lights, water was dripping on the floors and it looked worn down, as if no one had used it. The library person assured me that its working and I can use it. I didnt feel comfortable and safe.
I left the place immediately.
This behaviour is totally unethical.
I understand because of recent fire there is a lot of inconvenience
But they should have informed me before and not lied about it.
They should keep the library closed untill all the mall repairs are done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for self study. Library contain they provide wifi, water, ac, fan. And Library timing is 6am to 24am.
Now new year offer is also available. I recommend join the library without any thoughts. It is like a silent zone.
Note:- BUT THIS LIBRARY IS PERPEMANTALY CLOSED NOW.
