Are you sure this is the Sub Registrar Office (SRO) you want to visit? Pl note that there are at least 4 SROs in Rajajajinagar on date, so you need the detailed address of the one you want to visit. English/ Kannada Typing , Photocopying & Notary services are available nearby. Most of the people come here for Marriage registration/ Certificate. And some for Property Encumbrance Certificate (EC)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BRIBE BRIBE.......getting a marriage certificate will cost you 1000rs , mind you , no receipt is given for this amount. People here simply pocket it. If you dont pay bribe, they will make your to roam every day, till you tried of all this . HOPE these beggers will get caught by ACB.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience!!! Had been there to get marriage certificate done. There are no display boards anywhere regarding the fees to be paid. Staff working there openly demand for cash for which no receipt will be given. Marriage certificate government charges with receipt is 130 rs only. But they asked for 600 rs n when I asked for receipt , it was just 130 rs. So I questioned her why should I be paying extra and paid her 130 rs nly. I sincerely request everyone to demand for receipt n pay accordingly n not to entertain such people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marriage certificate cost rs 130 only. It will be given on spot no need to wait. Lady (Mrs Renuka madam) who enters your data into system will get receipt but she will not give you that. She demands bribe of 100rs. After that you have to get your signed certificate from another lady officer outside. She demands 500rs bribe. And even she is shameless to start bargaining the amount. There are no display boards about services provided and prescribed fees. They willfully create chaos and entertain middlemen to negotiate. It's too easy to solve these issues by simple steps like displaying fees, put token system , make peons to wear uniform and placards mentioning don't pay bribes n helpline numbers to contact in case someone delays or demands bribe. And citizens needs to be patient and always ask for receipts.
