★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This college is under Vidyasagar University. It was established on 1988. It is named after the river Subarnarekha, therefore the college is known as Subarnarekha Mahavidyalaya or especially known as Gopi College to the rural people.It is situated at Gopiballavpur, Jhargram, West Bengal. It is on the left side on the way towards Gopi from Chatinasol.
In the middle of the college area there has a statue of Swami Vivekananda, the famous monk.
It is the examination centre of many colleges. When I had exam there I saw many rooms were full of dust, and the bathrooms also.
Some professors are also very rude. Although they are reputed persons they don't no how to behave with students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rural college is situated in the heart of the Gopiballavpur and on the side of the main road in a calm quiet ambience, infrastructure and buildings are not so good. The college is started its journey in the year 1988 and at present college is imparting education and knowledge to the students of Bachelor degree Arts,science and commerce with Hons courses ,all courses are affiliated to the Vidyasagar University, also the college is accredited by NAAC.
