About Sugam NGO
Sugam is a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization based in the Delhi NCR region. It works in the field of education for underprivileged children, their development, welfare, and developing them as future leaders. It was founded by Ms. Monica Sharma in 2011.
It conducts grassroots work to alleviate poverty through the education and development of underprivileged children.
Sugam was initially focused on raising funds for uplifting underprivileged children but soon discovered the most effective way to do that was to provide them with access to a well rounded education for their overall development and wellbeing. Sugam aims to empower these children such that it brings out their true potential to have a future full of possibilities and break free from the chains of poverty.
Sugam NGO School was established in 2011 in Village Silokhera, Moti Vihar. It is home to more than 15,000 underprivileged people that are performing menial jobs as maids and laborers in the neighboring affluent colonies of Gurugram.

The sugam NGO is a dedicated NGO that provides quality education to the children of poor economic background. The NGO receives funding from corporations. The teaching staff comprises a committed and dedicated group of teachers, some of whom have a long previous academic career with government and private schools. The NGO also conducts extra curricular activities for the children to give them a platform to flourish and explore their talents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The NGO runs a school for years now. There are more than 200 students, and they are doing pretty good. This is sponsored by a lot of organisations/corporates. For volunteering, people can go over on weekends to teach the kids. So overall it gave a positive feeling. Teachers are good as well.
