β β β β β There was no stalls like foods and other things .. if you want something then you have to goo 5 km from the place .. service are not too good .. there is only one hotel inside .. and we need to inform at morning for lunch and dinner... The sea beach is far away from guest house.. the room are soo good .. there was no noise you can feel the real nature.. for couples who wants to spent some quality time this place is soo good ..

β β β β β Unless you arrange the food,water or necessary tbings, you will be in great problem. Food service is not good. They will keep you waiting at food table. Serving is limited, have to order much before . Otherwise you have to go to Bakkhali for good lunch dinner. There is no room service at all. Arrangement is very bad from sfdc corp. Just because of henry island beach you can go. Obviously the beach is very beautiful. Advised not to stay in this fisheries dept. Rooms with families.

β β β β β 1) extremely unprofessional manager
2) very limited food items. One cannot get customised preparations on request. If anyone is allergic to something, canteen will not going to make a special dish other than their thalis.
3) no staff other than the cooks, not even a single person to carry luggages
4) most of the ponds have dried up. Even not all the ac rooms are water-view.
5) no wifi, no boating, no such amenities which are mentioned in the govt website.
Better not to stay at sundari complex. It's good for a half day visit only which we did earlier. This was our first night stay and we are utterly disappointed with the experience of their bad bad hospitality.

β β β β β Very nice experience. Took my family for a weekend, did online booking from WB website, had to took my booking print out and Id proof Xerox. Check in happened smoothly, rooms are spacious, you will get space for parking in front of your room. We took AC room, they have balcony and you can see far away and enjoy the wind. Few minor work is needed in the bathroom like light is not turning on, however that was manageable. They don't serve food in room, you need to go to their dining room which is fine. For older ppl, they can arrange at your room on your request. Beach is just 700m walk. Enjoy the small ponds for fishery. We liked it very much. Must stay place.

β β β β β Cleaning and food quality is good if you want to spend your weekend in a peaceful place then it will be the best destination for you as its very close to Kolkata. Weather is very pleasant and beach is less crowded with beautiful white sand.
But 3 star for room services, no complementary tea or water is available. You have to pay for everything with GST. If you ordered food in your Room that's may be just beside there Office still you have to pay Taxes for that food.

β β β β β Usually beaches in kolkata are crowded. We stayed in Sundari tourist complex owned by govt fisheries department. You get to stay inside the fishery area. Quiet, serene location with easy access to Henry's island beach. If you want a quiet, fresh environment along with beach, you can definitely go for it. One disclaimer, you need private/booked vehicle to visit places outside the fishery area as from the gate, the complex is about 2.5km away.

β β β β β Nice experience. If you want to spent time with your family, kids, or beloved one peacefully in the lap of nature Sundari is the best spot. No noise of city life, no pollution. You can feel yourself amidst huge water body, Mangrove and sea.
