Remote hotkeys don't work and the nav keys are unresponsive after a week. I complained with the consumer care as my product was under warranty. Warranty is a farce, they don't care about after sale services. They don't have service infra / even franchise service support. Asking me to parcel the remote control. People should carefully consider the warranty commitments of these new TV brands popping up lately. I'm regretting my decision now!

Worst response, never buy a Kodak tv, the customer care never responds n shares the contact details of the service person. My tv has a problem from january 2021 n till even afret repited calls n mails no responce at all. Most 3rd rated company. Today my tv went blank.

I have a Kodak TV 50’ at home which I purchased a few months back but can’t use because the remote is not working and the replacement has not come even after a month. After sending mails and reminders they deputed a service engineer who confirmed that the remote was defective and promised to get it replaced in a week. Nothing happens even after 2 weeks and eventually when I called the call centre states that the complaint is closed. I made an issue and probably after that they must have reopened the complaint but eventually with lots of instructions floating from the spares department stating first that I first recheck with a rechargeable battery and later coming back to state that I could log into google and pick up an app which would then enable me to use my mobile as a remote. And all this when they only needed to send me a replacement. Funny, but if my tv did not work they would probably have told me to use an app from google and watch tv on my mobile. Eventually after a month the company has asked me to send back the remote and only then would my replacement remote be sent. I wonder who is the consumer, the TV manufacturer or the one who buys the TV. In any case I have decided to go to the consumer court to seek damages and penalise the company for their inaction Surely the worst customer service ever encountered in my lifetime. Even a company which sells a 5 rupee stuff serves better .. Please do not buy a Kodak product. The TV is awesome but after service or Customer care is the worst. Do not have the patience to listen, dictates how the conversation should go and wrong information. When I called them on a Saturday they stated that the remote is despatched and to come back on Monday for the waybill number. On Monday they state they are looking at my complaint. Do not waste your hard earned money. Worst service and quality. Do not buy Thomson, kodak, Blaupunkt and Westinghouse brand TV as all are made by SPPL. My Westinghouse TV stopped working within 15 days of purchase and now am running pillar to post to get a service visit scheduled. Similar experience from many other buyers. Beware!!

Pathetic customer service from this company. My Kodak TV remote stopped working two months after I purchased it and the company asked me to send the remote over to them for a replacement. It has now been more than a month since sending the remote, and there is absolutely no replacement or response from the company. I regret having made the decision to buy a product from them.

The company is not worth for even 1 star rating. We have bought 40 inch thomson tv from flipkart. Within 1.5 months of purchase, the display went blank. Since we had complete tv protection from flipkart, Jeeves engineer visited and identified that motherboard of the tv needs to be replaced and put a request for the same. It took these people 20-25 days for sending a replacement part. After replacing the part, the tv worked for 1 more week and then its same blank again. This time the issue was raised to thomson which replaced the motherboard again, but there was issue with the remote as well which service engineer acknowledged and mentioned to request for replacement. We put in a request and then tantrums of this company started where they asked multiple times video of the issue, changing battery, saying that if any key remains pressed remote stops working for certain duration and blah blah....this mail thread kept on lingering for 1.5 months after which they asked for remote to be sent back to them and only then they can provide a replacement. On asking that during warranty period, the should provide service at door-step, they started asking 350/- rs as visiting charges in the warning period itself. Such a fraud company, all this happened when we are located in tier- 1 city, In BJP government, it seems businessmen are profiteering while common people who are putting hard-earned money in buying items are being cheated. Central government should make strict measures where defaulters like these companies should be punished heavily.
