In one line this place is hidden gem. I was travelling back fr chitradurga to Bangalore. A friend of mine took to this place saying it's a great restaurant for non vegetarian food. I searched on Map to see reviews, it wasn't listed. The street is also very small. But area itself is in prime center of Tumkur. The building looks old and you will have to climb two stories to reach but as soon as you enter, you will be thrilled. Its a fine mix of modern and classic ambience. Top class cleanliness. Filtered water. Then came the food. This is no exaggeration, when you put chicken into mouth it melts like butter. So soft. At the same time the spice literally makes your tongue ooze out water. I must confess I have never tasted such chicken in any Indian restaurants so far. I kept on ordering one after the other due to temptation. For the main course I took chapati and kurma. Top combo. As a final touch the owner offers you curd or buttermilk. Perfect ending. I was surprised to see reasonable bill. I won't get even half of that quantity in Bangalore. I must say it's hidden gem. Strongly recommend you to visit. Try chilly chicken , pepper dry, mutton kurma.

One of the best mudde / chapathi / rice meals with typical and traditional chicken masala gravy... Great taste and well mannered service...

If you are travelling from Bangalore and towards Bangalore and couldn’t find a non-vegetarian restaurant which could satisfy your taste buds (which is most likely case in this highway), then your search ends here. The badoota (non-veg food in Kannada) with pure native taste is balance blend of spice and taste. It’s not too spicy not too garam masalafied. Best part purely pocket friendly. We were four hungry vultures and we had sumptuous meal followed by tasty paan. You won’t regret it. Thank me later. PS - If ambience matters for you more then food, it’s not your place to go. It’s a old small hotel with narrow road. You may have to park your vehicle around 100, 200 meters away in alternate roads.
