★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge textile market,if you are a first time visitor and came here to purchase in bulk, take some time and visit as many shops as you can, because you will get a lot of variety, with prices as low that you never thought about. You can purchase here best quality clothing in very reasonable price, if you're a good bargainer. For the first time visitors, beware of agents they will tell you that, they can take you to the best shop with best price available in the market, but actually you'll pay more. Search your self, it will take time, but after spending 3-4hrs, you will be able to identify, where to buy and at what price. I suggest take some time and then purchase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Does not go hand in hand with its reputation outside Surat... instead some one should try opposite lanes where there are lot of medium and small sized shops for whole sale buying... you can only find high end designer wears etc in this market and one with low budget are way outdated

It is not much high but includes many shops.
Prices of a single shop on ground floor of STM is near about 2 crores.
In surat textile market, there is also branch of post office, bank of baroda and bank of india.
Parking space is available in stm parking project.(paid service)
Surat textile market also have an auditorium.
The famous hotel of surat i.e. The tex plazzo is also built above surat textile market.
