There were trains Mumbai, Delhi, Visakhapatnam, Secunderabad, Nagpur, Howrah, Kamakhya, Rajkot, Gandhidham, Wankaner etc., Sir Lakhdhiraji Waghji,[1] who ruled from 1922 until 1948, acted as a ruler, manager, patron and policeman of the state with great authority. Sir Waghji, like other contemporary rulers of Saurashtra, built roads and a railway network (of seventy miles), connecting Wadhwan and Morbi. Surendranagar-Rajkot section was laid in 1905.[2] Gauge conversion of Viramgam-Hapa section via Surendranagar, Wankaner was completed by 1980.[3] Morvi State Railway was merged into the Western Railway on 5 November 1951.
S	Samir Jadav on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently painted quotes and slogans on walls. Amazing art. Junction is quite good. Free WiFi is available here. It needs cleaning. Peoples are crossing the tracks. Railway police and officers were present there but no one had stop them. Food stalls are not good but ok. Some maintenance and construction is going on now. And some offices are changed but there is no signboard. So it causing difficulties for the public. Junction is good but needs so many improvements.

N	Ni Raj on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surendranagar Railway station is not crowded like Mumbai. Local railway staff at station is really very good, HELPFUL WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATIONS, co-operative, give good guidance & very supportive. Specially Mr. Ghanshyambhai Jadeja & Mr. Kamleshbhai are very helpful. They don't expect anything in return. Such helpful people are not found in metro cities, this is possible here only. God bless them?. They informed us about waiting room at station for AC ticket holders. Mr. Jadeja helped us ordering lunch delivered at railway station while waiting for the train. Not & never have come across such helpful people in Mumbai. GOD BLESS THEM? Pictures attached here are of waiting room for AC ticket holders.
