★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is amazing place for Islampur Akkha masoor dish. They serve it with roti. Also please reach early because crowd is always there. For parcel also there is crowd and waiting queue. Must visit if you are fond to eat marathi food. Other dishes are also available. Do try once. Must go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for a quick stop along Kolhapur highway. This place is pure vegetarian and has limited options available for lunch and thus service is quick. Parking available just outside the restaurant. Do visit if u are interested in trying out local dishes?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest place who serve tasty Akkha Masoor in Islampur. Place is very nice and comfortable. All the menu items are inexpensive.The ambience is nice.The sitting arrangements are also good.There is separate family section to eat.The service is fast and the staff is also good.Taste of all items is good but I guess the quantity is bit less. Now about the food i ordered,
1. Masoor. (मसूर)
2. Tej / Lasoon Masoor.(तेज /लसूण मसूर)
3. Kaju Masala.(काजू मसाला)
4. Roti.(रोटी)
1.Masoor.(मसूर ):- This taste nice and mild in taste.The combination of green chilly and masoor is mindblowing.This is must try dish there.
2.Tej / Lasoon Masoor.(तेज /लसूण मसूर):- This masoor is spicy and nice flavour of garlic or lasoon is nicely come while eating.If you want to try spicy masoor then you should order this.
3.Kaju Masala.(काजू मसाला):- This dish taste bit sweet.The gravy or masala is very nice in taste.Ample amount of kaju / cashews are there.
4.Roti.(रोटी):- The special mention for roti because the diameter and softness is just wow.
Later finished with Jeera rice and Dahi. The jeera rice is served with little amount masoor over it.
So Overall Nice Experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my colleague introduced me to this place about 7 odd years back. That time it was a very basic canopy sheltered restaurant near the crossroads of Islampur phata on Mumbai-Bangalore highway.
It was known for its amazing Akhha Masoor and today too it is known for the same. Though there are dishes you would get, but it is best known for Akhha Masoor.
Yesterday I got a chance of having lunch there after about couple of years. So was excited for having lunch.
This place is now transformed into a 2 floor building, where there is dining on both the floors. Garden and waiting areas done up.
The dish tasting the same as couple of years back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am coming here since last 5-6years... Best dish is obviously jeera flavoured Akkha Masoora.. However i hadn't a good experience last time in terms of taste... Overall a good hotel to visit with friends and family..
