With vertically Integrated production facilities Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd. excels in all stages of textile production from spinning, weaving, dying to finished fabric, apparel making, home textiles and made-ups.
In 1934 Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd. started its flagship unit at Okara (now in Pakistan). Thereafter in 1963 Rajasthan Textile Mills, at Bhawanimandi (Rajasthan), another spinning unit of Sutle4j, started it’s production. In the same year Sutlej strengthened its spinning capacity further by setting up another spinning unit Chenab Textile Mills at Kathua (J&K). These units are producing synthetic and blend yarns.
In the year 2000, as part of it’s forward integration plan. Sutlej set up Damanganga Fabrics at Bhilad (Gujarat), to initiate weaving and processing of world class fabrics. Again in 2005 Sutlej took another step further and set up Damanganga Garments and Damanganga Home Textiles.
Birla textile Mill at Baddi (HP) is another Prominent spinning unit under KK Birla group with a substantial business achievement.
