It is big and looks pretty nice and is well known in Bally and Belur. It's just your average fancy lodge that is used as it should be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent location for small budget wedding reception and other parties. Mostly small events are organised here like birthday parties, first rice ceremony, mourning ceremony, etc.
The place is certainly not a flamboyant lodge for large size or high status events. But it will be good enough for a low budget event.
The only way it beats other reception and event halls in the area is that it contains a small playground for children to play. This facility is not available in most halls in the area baring one or two.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suvangan Lodge is a nice place for wedding and organizing other functions like that. It is situated at 5 minutes walking distance from Belur Railway Station. There are more empty places in the entrance and parking lot is also available.

However the courtyard in front is spacious and accomodates all the wedding rituals including Gaye holud in morning, starter counters, biyer mandap and the buffet dinner counter at nights. Overall, an average place to hold Bengali marriage function
