Kind of a tiring trek. Leads to a suvarnamukhi temple. Has a lot of history. There is a small pond that is associated with the saying that if you take a bath for a certain period of time, all ailments will be cured. It's just a saying, I don't know how true. But you can see people take a bath here. Good for short trekking trips.

This is about 60 years old temple inside the Bannerghatta national park. You have to walk about 1.5 KM inside the forest behind Chambakadhana Narasimha temple. You have to climb the mount to Narasimha Swamy temple and walk behind the temple. After the Narasimha Swamy temple road is mostly flat and nice to walk and not much crowded. It was very pleasant to walk with birds chirping. Temple is maintained by mostly the locals around Bannerghatta and they come late and open the temples mostly by 11 AM. It’s a nice place for a short picnic, there were few monkeys so take caution if you carry any food items.

Very Historic and Powerful place. The Kalyani water is said to have medicinal values. The temple is right next to Bannerghatta National Park and there are some possibilities of sighting an Elephant herd in late evenings. You have to park your vehicles near Shaneshwara Temple and walk about 2km in the R.F limits. Quite adventurous walk. There are vendors who carry edible stuffs till the temple and sell. So please keep your stomach empty and do some business for those folks. The history of the temple is quite interesting, do ask the priest when you visit and he will be happy to tell you. There is Shiva, Nageshwara, and Anjuneya temple inside the premises as well. There shall be Jathre in the month of March and don't forget to visit here during Ramanavami time as they will remove the Kalyani water and do pooja to the Anjuneya Akruthi formed naturally on the floor of the Kalyani and replace the water. Last but not the least, please do not litter this place.
