Disappointing Experience. I visited the place as it was recommended in a youtube video as "best dalbati in pune" , to my surprise it was not even 10% of what I expected. I have had authentic dal bati in Rajasthan, few of my family members wanted to try dal bati ( it was there 1st time ) and now they don't want to eat it again. Taste was not good, bati which they served was very hard. Serving time is more than 35-40 mins which I can ignore if food was upto the mark. I strongly suggest not to visit this place by failing for the online reviews.

My earlier experience of this restaurant was very good, but this time was an average experience. Batis were not well made and dal was not tasty at all. I checked with owner and he confirmed that his master cook should be back by second week of May. Would retry and update feedback if I see significant change.

Very curtious staff and very yammy food. Authentic Daal, baati, litti choka you can find in very reasonable price. Small but clean place. Loved it.

Decent place with good taste. Small area though. Pricing is little bit high. Pics of menu on google are older..latest rates are higher (Maharaja Thali is 180 on google maps menu pics..but it's 255 now). don't know why but...place was empty.we were the only customers. Overall a good place.

Good food prepared with desi ghee. Proprietor is very friendly and talks respectfully. Card payments are not available though.

CHEAP MARATHI VERSION OF DAL BATI: Today I had THE WORST experience of dal bati in my whole life. Dal was 99% water and 1% spices and I was still searching for the dal in it. Dal resembles to the one prepared for the prisoners in a jail, even the jail would would've prepared much better than this. Now coming to BATI, the restaurant should change it's name to "mini bati" because its actual size is more than 50% less than the actual rajasthani bati. Therfore, this restaurant is demeaning the taste of actual Rajathani Dal Bati. I don't know why so many reviewers writing good about this dish. I am 200% sure they have never been to Rajasthan and just happy with cheap marathi version of dal bati. CHEAP MARATHI VERSION OF GATTE KI SABJI: I have never seen such gatte ki sabji. When I saw this, I was laughing like hell because it was nowhere close to the actual Rajasthani gatte ki sabji (see the image with comarison). It seems they have taken normal panner's gravy and placed some GATTE in it. WOW!.. This is how they again ruined it. Why I am still giving them the TWO stars, because: 1. Litti chokha was good. 2. Bharta was good. Therefore, if you've been to rajasthan and love rajasthani food, then never go to this place.
