★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was invited there by a brother and his wife. This is a historical set up, so I felt very happy. The journey of this (pice) hotel started in the year 1927 with a motive to serve delicious food. The menu is long and traditional and moderately charged. I enjoyed all the items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home style Bengali food in a very cheap price? This is the place for that! It is a very old hotel which serves freshly cooked food which is damm cheap and is in authentic Bengali style. Mutton gravy was amazing! Even the mango chutney ? the ambiance isn't great for sure but food is worth!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pice hotel, very near to college street. It's not easy to be located. Google map will help you through out. Recommended dishes: chital macher muitha, dal and chhachari. Pocket pinch is moderate level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there today with lots of expectation after watching food vloggers talk highly about this.
Went there at 1 pm today, all the food items were not hot, they have turned cold, lost my appetite there.
Maybe if you go early you can get hot. There were no banana leaf available. I ordered parshe, it was cold and not tasty, the the other food items were just okayish. Just average which you can get in any roadside stall.
I tired in sideshwari ashram too, and there food was lot tastier and fresher. Went there at 1 pm as well.
Definitely never coming back

Located near College Street..
Their fish dishes have amazing taste..
If you want authentic bengali cuisine at reasonable price must try this place..
And the best is they serve food in Kola-Patta ( Banana Leaf) and cleanliness and hygiene maintained..
