I have completed my b.tech. degree from here. good college and environment.

The college will become a good one if the whole EEE faculty except for Krishna Roy is sacked from their jobs. It will be even better if that lowlife Samrat Paul is not given a job in any other college because he surely won't be able to continue harrassing students if this happens. I mean he and Anshuman and some others should be severely punished. The principal herself should also give up her job. If all these happens I'm sure the college will become a great one.

I have spent 4 years in this college and hostel, let's talk about the experience in pros and cons manner. CONS 1. At the time of admission everyone will be so helpful and well behaved like they are the best human being in the world, but after admission no one listens to you, starting from Director to Principal to Staffs, everyone cares about one thing only i.e. money. 2. I met three of the worst person in my life in this college only: a. Principal(Sonali Sarkar), Administrator(Somnath da{not the faculty}), Hostel Incharge(Saha babu), all are each others puppet and have 0 common sense or thinking power. All they care about is money. If you want to test their IQ just ask a simple mathematical problem, they will scare like seen a ghost. 3. Faculties are mostly good because they are knowledgeable, but many good faculties have left the college , worst faculties are from: Humanities, EEE. best faculties: ME, CSE. 4. Jobs are Myths here, irrespective of stream you are you will never get a campus placement and if you get one the maximum monthly salary is 10k. TPO members are incompetent, ill-mannered and confused, they don't even have or update their database of students. All the placement claims you see on Prospectus or Website are either misleading or they have got jobs from off-campus drives. 5. The supporting staffs behaves like either they are gundas or they are super confused. Except Rajat da, rest I didn't find anyone eligible to work 6. Hostel management is as worst as it can be due to the above mentioned reasons. PROS 1. If you have money to spend, you will get the degree. Lastly I want to conclude by saying two things: I am giving this review by calling out the names because I really want to see the college where I studied to be in a good condition, and not as miserable as today. If you are currently studying in this college, don't be dishearten, being a senior my advice would be forget about the marks as long as you are getting more than 60%, and start to improve your coding and aptitude(as many 8-9 pointers of my batch are still struggling for jobs despite so many years of passing ) irrespective of stream as many IT companies are having off campus drives and attempt for competitive exams without wasting time. Nice campus. Neat and clean area, faculties are much more helpful and cooperative. Greenery and eco-friendly environment.

Transport system is very good.... college campus is huge and really beautiful...canteen, basketball ball coats, everything is there...I went there for interview....I had a great experience

Getting the Opportunity to shear something about the Institute you have spend the most precious period of life is a Honour itself ! An Engineering college is a whole different place than of other Colleges, we didn't just enroll to get the degrees certificate, but for a better career also, it's more of the Placement and platform provided to a final year student, Inspite of being a Pandemic passout batch, SVIST have brought us the opportunity, the platform to start our career with ! As a Successful student I'll like to drop 5 on 5 in terms of Quality Study, Faculty Feedback, and Skill Enhancing Trainings, Classes and so on !
