This place is really awesome to go with friends and family. Great enjoyment for children too in separate park . Great food and canteen, especially "Swaminarayan Khicadi" which is amouth watering dish. You also get peace of mind considering the calmness and positivity here. I loved to visit this place…Well maintained . No camera allowed. Mobile phones must be on silent. No photography permitted inside premises . Beautiful intricate carvings and serene atmosphere.Evening time lightings are just eye-catching.The temple shines in divine light. It closes at 6 pm and reopens after aarti at 7 pm.Weekend and holidays see a lot of crowd.Parking space is available inside,so don't park on the high way as it can get risky. Due to covid, prasad is not served, right now. Timings are strictly followed. There is not direct turning,so go ahead for like a kilometre and then come to this place. This is a must see place in Nagpur, very close to Nandanvan.Cleanliness is so on point.

Good place to visit with family. All neat and clean campus. Just a disappointed because all play area, lawns are locked and you only have to visit temple and then can leave.. It will be good management can open all those area which useful for.small kida to spent some quality time there.. Overall a good experience and a quick visit as there is no place to spent time at. Just park the vehicle, visit the temple, and exit..

Well constructed and decorated, Swaminarayan Temple has been meeting devotees from far. The green carpet inside temple premises is soothing to the eyes and adds to the positivity of the environment while the staircase to the temple makes one keep staring in awe. The best time to visit the temple is in evening, post or during sunset when the temple gets fully lit with hues against the dark background of the night sky.

The 750th Swaminarayan temple in India was inaugurated in the city on Monday 7th October 2013, amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and rituals that began two days before. Located in Wathoda near the Middle Ring Road, the temple is the largest among the over 1,000 temples that have been set up by Swaminarayan Sanstha across the world. Headed by the 93-year-old Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the fifth successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, the sanstha was established in 1907 and has millions of followers around the world. Run by BAPS which stands for Bochanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha, the congregation is dominated by Gujaratis as its founder hailed from Gujarat. 80% of the cost of constructing this massive structure has come from donations of local devotees. "We had set up a residential school here a decade back on demand of our followers. This temple, too, has been built on their request."The construction work began five years ago on January 28, 2008. Designed on the style of Sompuri architecture which is about temple designs, the temple also has a yatri niwas, sadhu sadan and a food court which will take some time to complete."To understand the scale of our operations one has to understand the depth of this organization are running about 172 activities around the world which include de-addiction programmes, education, tribal welfare and environmental activities. Our purpose is to guide the society to a better meaningful life through spiritual path," says Rathod.

Beutiful place to visit in Nagpur especially in the evening. The Place is very well maintained, has a proper system in place for devotees to take blessings in orderly manner, has beutiful garden surrounding, sufficient parking space and a locker room for keeping belongings. On the gate there is a canteen where food is available at affordable prices. It was a very nice experience visiting the temple.
