★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bus stand is easy to travel to from any part of Pune since there are number of buses plying to and from Swargate.
The frequncy of buses to parts of Mumbai, Konkan, Thane, Nashik, Aurangabad is quite good. You will also find all types of buses - MSRTC non-AC, Shivshahi etc. at this stop in addition to Karnataka State Road Transport buses as well. The staff at the enquiry counter is quite supportive and guides you well in case of any queries.
The seating area is huge and neatly maintained and have couple of eateries too! You will also find small eating stalls, restaurants around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bus stand needs an upgrade , it's mostly crowded all time as many interstate buses originates and arrives at the bus stop. The toilets are filthy msrtc should privatise it's operations so that they would be able to maintain it better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Swargate is a famous and popular place of pune city. The nain bus stand or you call it interstate bus stand is located at this place ,Therefore it is crowded throughout the day. From here you get shuttle service non stop buses to go to satara sangli and such other cities, This facility is much appreciated by many regulat travellers sales persons etc. Almost all necessary facilities are available here,

Washrooms are very dirty,
Food counters are not very standard,
Be aware from thief’s.
Needed lot of work like cleaning of stand, seating arrangment for travellers is not essential, bus standing arrangement is not properly managed.
Msrtc Drivers could not park thier bus properly because of that little traffic jam always happen in stand,
Private agents are everywhere and they offers cheap deals to the travellers please avoid them.
You can get buses from here towards pune local region, mumbai, thane , palghar region and all over kokan, solapur district, osmanabad district, sangli district, satara district, kolhapur district, karanataka region, goa region, & hyderabad also

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Center of the city makes it convenient but requires major cleanliness. Mostly Buses going to Mumbai and south mostly start from here. There are a lot of hotels outside. If you have good time before your bus leaves then you can also visit the sarasbaug mandir near by.
