★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not use this company and avoid the driver Sushil Meena, who literally extorted a lot of money from us. When we notified the company, they promised to give us the money back but did nothing, went awol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tour of Rajasthan, Delhi & Jaipur booked direct with Swastik. Hotels were exactly as listed & arrival & departure from each destination were timed to ensure that there was time to visit all monuments etc that were expected. All of the included experiences....Jeep Safaris, boat rides etc happened as expected & our driver Sandip went over & above to ensure we had a fantastic time...he really made our trip for us.
Negatives...1. City tour guides would always try to include a ‘shopping experience’ although some of these were informative & we quickly realised that there was no huge drama if we didn’t purchase items. And 2. One of our hotels in Rathambore fell below the standard expected from the tour but this was the only one out of eight hotels and all others met or exceeded expectations for the category we had booked.
Overall a fabulous trip & we would happily use Swastik again, particularly if we were able to have Sandip as our driver again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Most of the trip was spent in the car in awful traffic. I had no idea each location was so far from the others. I have very bad motion sickness, so it was especially bad. 2. NONE of the entrance fees were included. We spent so much extra money! In addition, everyone expected a tip. 3. Our tour guide at Fatehpur Sikri tried to scam us. He was already paid by the company, but he wanted us to pay him again. We ran into this sort of behavior often. 4. Sushil, our driver, told us to buy souvenirs in Agra or Jaipur but not Delhi, and then he told us not to tell anyone. I found that odd. 5. We did not feel safe at our hotel in Delhi. We made the mistake of looking up the news reports for that area. 6. STOP TRYING TO FORCE US TO BUY THINGS. I actually wanted to buy something until I felt forced to. I didn’t buy a single thing. 7. We opted out of the elephant ride because they looked like they were not taken care of or treated well.
With that being said, we did have an awesome tour guide in Agra, and most of our other tour guides were helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can recommend this company. We had a 5 day trip Delhi Agra Jaipur and most of it went smooth. We had some discussion in Agra where the driver proposed to start Taj Mahal visit at 9am whereas the program said sunrise as we had requested. In April it is a must to start at 6am to appreciate - at 7:30 when we left the heat already started and in the afternoon it is simply unbearable hot. Furthermore guides shall not try to force you to enter some shop - this happened to us so the best thing to do is simply insist that you don't want to buy anything and remain in the car. In one place my spouse wanted some copies of clothes with the fabric of her choice, we went to some nice place where there was no pressure and the guide was very helpful for getting everything arranged in time. And reading some comments from other people about elephants not being treated well: bs. Our elephant was 35 y.o. and in perfect shape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had the most fantastic holiday in India and it is all thanks to Swastik India journeys. Amazing tour by Swastik, we felt like we were able to see so much of India in just a short time we were there. Each location had been thought out in terms of logistics and sightseeing opportunities. In each place the local guides were informative and helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The hotels we stayed in were comfortable and clean and we couldn't fault them. Above all our fantastic driver Mr Singh was with us the entire tour, he went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran smoothly for us. He has been patient, resourceful and extremely hard-working throughout the tour and it is him we must thank especially for making our holiday so special. Brilliant tour company I would definitely recommend!
