It is the worst place to join language classes. Staff has a very casual approach. Language training is not so good, they behave as if we are kids and follow the pattern just like schools. Do not follow up your mails n never do they reply. If you want to learn and master a language, SIFIL is not a good option. Even my friends had similar experiences.

I joined for French A1. In month of December the internals of this institute and my GRE clashed. I informed the teachers at SIFIL about the same and they said I can retake the internals by paying extra. What they didn't mention is that students only get one week Grace to finish off internals. As a consequence I couldn't take any extra class, which I informed about too and couldn't take the intetnals .With a lot of begging I managed to get attention of the higher authority. Medha Purkar ma'am told me to respond to the recent mail and I did. I responded more than thrice and even attached proof of my GRE ecam, but she never reverted back. She was the one who told me to confirm the date of rescheduled internals and when I did, she never got back to confirm. This was more or less my worst experience with any language class. Few rules at sifil are justified but the rest are absurd. No information is properly communicated and I wasted my rs. 8000 (class fee + extra classes). I was doing all I could to cover up for the loss due to my other entrance exams but sifil didn't acknowledge at all. My language teachers had my back but the higher authority didn't comply at all.

Symbosis language institute is good place for learing English language. In the starting I was not good in English language but gradually I have improved. Other than formal class teacher had informal session which help alot to resolve quairry with teacher. I was introvert person but after joint institute I left my shyness behind and started taking part in each and every event which conducted by my recent PG clg. .and also Diffrent activity conducted by teacher. And the best part about institute is that the work on the feedback which given by the student. Even I'm looking for diploma in language I have some problems regarding leave because I'm frome the MP in the November or some occasion I visit MP .i know language institute is strict with the aatendence .so if possible I again joint some institute to advance my knowledge in English language. Thank you to all teacher

I did French A-1 from sifil. Teaching is excellent, not a problem regarding it. If you are willing to work on your own and to attend all the classes, go for it. And also ask about the rules before taking admission

I joined for French A1. In January 2020, as they informed that the final exams(theory and orals) would be in the month of April. As I was comfortable with the schedule, I paid Rs 8000 and enrolled into the class. Due to covid-19, our classes had to stop in mid march. In the 1st week of April, we resumed with our online classes which were held 3 days a week. Somehow the teachers managed to complete the portion by mid may. (We paid for 90 hours and I am pretty sure that they have not conducted classes for 90 hours.) On June 2nd, they randomly informed us that they will be conducting exams on the 4th and 5th of June. A lot of students opposed to this, they decided to conduct the exams on the 9th and 10th of June As we were in the middle of a pandemic and the entire county was under a lockdown, I unfortunately had to travel to Pune from my hometwon, with an e-pass, on the exam dates because my lease was over and my landlord had asked me to move out on the 10th of June. As this was already planned, I politely informed the teachers at SIFIL about the same and they said I can retake the internals by paying EXTRA. I asked my teachers multiple times but they were helpless because MEDHA PURKAR Ma'am who apparently is the co-ordinator for French did not approve. She was there in the whatsapp group in which I was asking my teachers to let me take my exams on some other dates as I already had commitments on those dates, but MEDHA PURKAR ma'am did not respond to any of my messages at all, she kept me on read. As I was travelling on those dates I couldn't take the exams. This was my worst experience with any institutes. Few rules at sifil are justified but the rest are absurd. No information is properly communicated and I wasted my rs. 8000 (class fee + extra classes). I was doing all I could to cover up for the loss due to the pandemic but sifil didn't acknowledge at all. The teachers are great and have no complaint against them, but in the end it's a waste if the institute is so uptight and does not cater to the needs of the students even in the middle of a pandemic.

If you genuinely want to learn a foreign language please do not go for SIFIL. This institute offers courses starting from 8000 but honestly they’re just not worth it because in the end you end up paying extra. Their policies are money minded and senseless. I joined A2 level for French after passing the entrance test. I realised after joining that I had already learnt whatever they were teaching to the A2 level students so I asked their co-ordinator Ms. Medha Purkar if I could shift to B1.She said that I had to pay 1000 for the entrance test of B1 and if I passed I could join. Till this point it was acceptable but then she said that since the batch of B1 had already started I would have to pay 500 for each hour of each class that I had missed (one class is of 3 hours). I told her that I would study on my own and cover up but she refused. So I decided to continue with A2 since I had already paid and I figured It would be like a revision for me and I would get a certificate also. The original fees of the 90 hour course was 8500. Because I missed one test I was asked to pay extra 500 to attempt it and they said that I couldn’t sit for the final exam if I didn’t give that test. Basically there was no way out. The teachers are also not at all co-operative. They speak only in French during class, when a student from my batch requested them to explain in English because she was not able to understand; the teacher began to shout at her saying that this was a French class and only French was to be used while speaking. Atleast to make sure that students understand they could’ve used English but they refused to do so. I noticed that many students faced difficulties in understanding because their way of teaching just wasn’t right. The French course is an absolute waste of money and time.

I enrolled for HSK 1 . Finished the complete course n got the certificate but still waiting for next level to start . no response from college regarding further levels. last month they said we need at least 4-5 members to start the level. I don't know how much time it will take again to start the next level... After experiencing it.... I strongly recommend to think " what is your purpose of learning" if it's for fun or few weeks time pass can join or else plan otherwise.... Thanks you
