Engineering education must evolve to keep pace with mighty changes occurring today in business, industry, and society. Engineers must develop attributes and knowledge beyond traditional constraints of the classroom. Engineering education must be designed to accommodate current trends and future needs. We must enhance the flexibility of curricula. Engineering education must create more connections and stronger partnership with the global society in which we are embedded. We must examine the relevance of curricula and strive for fulfillment of college & professional missions. Our goal is to articulate the role of engineering education in the early part of the 21st century and to establish design specifications that will enable our college to be a leader in shaping the future of engineering education. As such we have an obligation to address the full range of higher education, namely: teaching and learning, research, and service to the community. Indeed these three elements must totally integrate if we are to be effective in the pursuit of our mission.
Engineering and technology play a dominant role in manufacturing or processing associated with agricultural products. It should also be clear that engineering expertise and technology are major contributors to mining, construction, and transportation and infrastructure. Use of current technologies and creation of new technologies are at the heart of the engineering profession. Again, engineering education must be intimately familiar with the “business” of innovation.
Teamwork and partnership is another major element in our design of engineering education. The team we now envision is a partnership of scientists, engineers, business people, and society’s leaders. It is through these partnerships that the rapid pace and increasing complexity of technology designed to serve society will flourish.

β β β β β I studing currently In this college...And to tell u truth on name of engineering this college is not good...There are many things that are missing in this college and faculty is only on papers....The labs don't have any instruments...And if they have some in labs they don't work......The class rooms are also not good.....Only thing I like until now is that my teachers here are really nice(although some subject teachers are not provided at all and students have to study on there own).... Specialy our current HOD.....They support us even they know that this college can't provide us proper knowledge...Special thanks to our HOD Pankaj sir who provide us different workshops and trainings from outside resources.....In the end I will only say that this college is still growing so if you're looking to be in a engineering college come to this place on your own risk...

β β β β β Worst college in whole himachal. Where do i even start. Teachers here think of them as they are most academically brilliant minds the world has ever seen, but in reality they are just mindless rubes. If you are a boy you are automatically given half of assessment of girls no matter if you are brighter than them. A smallest of your work done by administration is seen as they have done a huge favour to you. The companies in which few students are placed are either fake or doesn't exist altogether. Don't even think of going there unless you want your life ruined.

β β β β β Worst College of Himachal Pradesh. The college staff is not helpful and the COE Control of examinations is also very bad there behaviors with the student is not good. They manipulate the students only in the admissions time and after the admission they don't care the student and they want only money. And if you want join this university so think before joining this university because here no campus placement provided For the students. And the clerical and office staff and administrators are very bed. And the hostal facility is not also good.
