★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lighthouse has been built up by the Government of India to bolster water tracking mechanism and to control sea traffic. This lighthouse is still in testing phase and not fully functional yet.
This is very near to the Biswa Banga park, Tajpur and open for tourists.
One can enjoy panoramic view of Tajpur atop this Lighthouse.
This is a 13 story building with 145 stair.
One will sea a breathtaking view from the top of this monument.
Santu da will be taking you to the top floor and he will explain what are you seeing. He is a very nice person.
The officer will explain the technical part of this Lighthouse and it's purpose.
Ticket charge: INR 10 per person.
This monument does worth a visit if you are at Tajpur.
It is opened from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Once the White light is on, no one can go up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently built. Excellent view from the lighthouse of the adjacent area: the mohona, Mandarmani on the other side, the viswa bangla park, and the vast sea beach. Although one has to climb 150+ stairs to go to the top, but it does worth the hard work. Officially one can visit the lighthouse from 4 p m. To 5'30 p.m. during the winter, and 4 to 6 p.m. for the rest of the year. But all the enthusiasts are allowed throughout the day on request.
