★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor. Poor. Poor. It is any taste but not the taste of Kolkata. It was after quite a few years I visited this place, my 2nd visit and this time it was takeaway. I asked for Basanti Polao and Mutton Kosha, both not available, they suggested me Chicken Kosha and Vegetable Fried Rice. The representative even insisted that the fried rice is just like polao without the colour and has kaju, kishmish. I ordered that. And he insisted to taste the Kolkata Biriyani. So, we ordered that too. To be ready in 15 minutes, it was finally ready in 45 minutes. Now the dinner scene. The Food packets opened at home and we served ourselves. As we served, we were already in doubt as the color and texture of the both the rice didn't look encouraging. As we started having the food, we were utterly disappointed. The so called Kolkata Biriyani was far far far away from the original taste. The Vegetable Fried rice was vegetable fried rice and had absolutely nothing to do with Basanti Polao even without the Color. The chicken kosha was standard. Well, the dinner was a massacre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average. Was very excited to try them but it's not that great place to eat authentic Bengali dishes. Few things were okay, like their mutton curry with rice, but fish disappointed me highly. They could do better by keeping the place clean and improving on their service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very very bad ..... Not satisfied at all.... Waste of money ......and definitely ..."NOT THE TASTE OF KOLKATA".
Ordered for "Chicken biriyani" and they served us "JEERA RICE WITH CHICKEN LABABDER" and the quality of food was too bad to taste.
Unhygienic place to eat food....
*** Please I repeat don't come here to waste your money .....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a typical bengali restaurant at thakur village, Kandivali, Mumbai. Foods are very good. Kolkata style biriyani is available here. Fish Kabiraji is another great dish. Mutton biriyani and veg items are also available here. Foods are priced at mid budget. Other than bengali food, barbeque and chinese items are also available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 pack has 2 Mutton Pieces One Boiled Egg One Half Potato. Worst part is each Mutton Piece is 80% bone and 20% meat. The amount of attar is just revolting, I mean I know attar is part of Kolkata style biryani but the quantity they put is too much. We spent about 2k for 1kg mutton Biryani delivered at home for our guests and we were forced to eat such horrible food as there was no other option. They have the audacity to justify that they are right and are challenging me to send the left over food for verification. I am about to send the leftovers 2 pack hopefully it puts some sense into proper cooking.
